Displaying Girri Girri logo options

In May 2007, during the visit of Academy members to the Lake Burrendong Sport and Recreation Centre (www.dsr.nsw.gov.au), a workshop was held to develop the Girri Girri logo.

All members contributed a piece of their own art work for consideration by the group.

Three particular pieces of work were highly prized.

Following a discussion of problems associated with copyright, a final decision by the group members saw the work of Fred Vincent accepted as the Girri Girri logo.

Fred's work represents the many tribes of Academy members and it shows that the Academy is open to all new members.
